The role is going to be very fast past and busy so experience of working in the FMCG / Media or consumer goods industry is essential .

Credit control duties:

• Chasing payments by phone and email
• Raising invoices daily
• Dealing with multi-currencies GBP, EUR, USD
• Assisting with cash allocation
• Close liaison between the credit controller and the marketing /sales department
• Propose write off irrecoverable receivables Risk Assessment:
• Checking the customer's credit situation and deciding whether to offer credit
• Dealing with internal queries about payments, ensuring customers pay on time and negotiating repayment plans
• Identify changes in payment patterns and propose action to avert indebtedness General:
• Meet cash monthly targets
• Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity
• Ensure that all transactions are compliant with Company's policies
• Respond promptly and completely to both client and internal enquiries
• Providing ad-hoc reporting as and when requested by management
• Undertake account reconciliations as required
• Other duties as delegated from time to time by the Finance Manager or any other person designated in their absence
