Job Description

THE ROLE

  • Estimating and prepare schedule of works
  • Putting together bids to ween new business
  • Prepare contracts for Clients and Subcontractors
  • Negotiating contracts
  • Cost analyses and forecast
  • Reviewing, developing and managing daily operational flow
  • Management/mentoring/coaching junior staff on best practices for managing contract issues and handling daily duties
  • Site visits and presale meetings with clients
  • Strategic planning and financial forecasts
  • Improving current operational process flows
  • Resolving contractual and commercial problem
  • Discovering areas that are not in-keeping with regulation practice
  • Risk assessment
  • Ensuring that the financial aspects and impact of a contract are clear to all parties
  • Overseeing financial KPIs
  • Attend team and board meetings

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Good IT and M/O knowledge Previous, proven estimating experience Analytical skills Technical Skills Strong commercial awareness Strong Negotiator Exemplary communication skills High attention to detail High understanding of construction processes Strong contractual knowledge Experience with Trimble Estimating Software (preferred) Previous electrical on-site experience (preferred) Professional membership with IET or similar (preferred)
