To be considered for this opportunity, you must have strong operational management accounting experience within an environment such as manufacturing or engineering. The ability to produce monthly reporting packs and present these to non-financial stakeholders to provide valuable insight & additional value is absolutely critical.

On Offer
The position of Management Accountant will offer:

• £35,000 - £45,000 base salary
• Full study support (if required)
• Company bonus/profit share scheme

You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:

• Reporting to and deputizing for the Head of Finance
• Business partnering with other departments and key-non financial stakeholders
• Involvement in several high value & business critical projects
• Production and presentation of monthly reporting packs
• Variance analysis with ability to understand & challenge variances
• Reviewing, analyzing and reporting on operational matters – costing, labor, materials, resourcing, pricing etc.
• Creation and monitoring of KPI’s
• Assisting with budgeting setting & monitoring
• Assisting with forecasting & cash flow analysis
• Assisting with ERP systems developments
• Creation and development of processes, procedures & controls
• Adhoc duties

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Part qualified, finalist or qualified Accountant – QBE will be considered with excellent practical experience. Experience of operational management accounting within either engineering or manufacturing. Ability to engage, interact and influence non-financial stakeholders. Advanced Excel and ERP system exposure. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
