Job Description

We are looking for an associate building surveyor, who has strong professional services and public sector experience, for a well-regarded property and construction consultancy.

The business provides a first-class service throughout education, commercial, government, housing, automotive and more. Due to new business within the social housing space. The London team require a strong associate to help lead, whilst supporting with the greater development of the team and service line.

This position will be managing a small team of surveyors ranging from graduates to senior building surveyors, working closely with public sector organisations across a diverse property portfolio.

You will be responsible for providing advice on repair and refurbishments, design and building and maintenance. You will receive variation within your workload, where some of your day-to-day duties will include dilapidations, technical due diligence, fee proposals as well as pre-acquisition surveys.

The business is looking for a driven and ambitious chartered building surveyor, who has relevant experience in the aforementioned sectors.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The individual must have successfully gained their chartership through MRICS or a similar professional body and are 3+ years PQE. You will possess the necessary skills to advise and mentor the graduates within your team and be competent in a client-facing situation.
