Job Description

Reporting to the Transaction Reporting Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing oversight and exception management processes pertaining to the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive II (MiFID II) and EMIR
  • Investigating issues arising from the reporting processes and escalation to management where appropriate;
  • Assisting in operational processes with a critical third party supplier in the production MiFID II reporting; and
  • Liaising with third party suppliers, IT, and other key contacts as appropriate.

Key Outcomes

  • Work as part of a team to achieve team objectives;
  • Assist in the creation (where applicable) and maintenance of appropriate delivery models for outputs;
  • Assist in the review of processes to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements in a controlled and robust manner;
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with applicable stakeholders (third party clients, administrators, auditors etc.);
  • Collaborate effectively with relevant colleagues and teams in ASI Operations and the wider business; and
  • Respond promptly and accurately to queries and requests from regulators, internal business units, and auditors.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Educated to degree level in a mathematical or data specialisms. Good knowledge and understanding of applicable regulations, e.g. MiFID II and EMIR (desirable). Familiarity with investment management and the fund regulatory environment, investment process, instrument characteristics, etc. Organized, focused and driven to be successful.
