Job Description
Plan, develop, and direct QHSE policies, programs, and initiatives.
Implement and maintain compliance with all:
Agencies regulating QSHE including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
Industry and customer standards and requirements such as Achilles.
Support the business to develop and maintain internal processes related to QHSE
Train, coach, and mentor the business in QHSE compliance and industry best practices
Develop and implement an effective system for communication, containment, root-cause corrective action, and continuous improvement to prevent recurrence of QHSE deficiencies
Coordinate QHSE related activities for the company and serve as primary contact for internal and external audits and enquiries
Respond to all clients QHSE related audits (from commercial, to product and site), including attend meetings to represent the company in relative clients’ meetings
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Degree in Business, Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience. 10+ years of hands-on experience: Implementing and leading QHSE in a multi-site organization manufacturing electro-mechanical products. Successfully managing, interacting, and negotiating with the customer and Industry regulators regarding QHSE. Experience leading a new ISO 9001 certification for a multi-site manufacturing organization. QHSE management and Lead Quality Auditor Certification. Experience leading the development and documentation of business processes in both large established and growth oriented entrepreneurial organizations. Once it is safe to do so, willing and able to travel internationally occasionally (not expected to exceed 10-20% of the year). Several years of experience in: Quality management for a New Product / Program Introduction (NPI). Developing and implementing programs to strengthen supplier quality e.g. implementation of APQP and PPAP or similar.
