Assist the Head of Technical Design to maintain and develop the technical discipline and in developing and implementing quality standards, knowledge management, and efficient methods for the technical design of the practice's projects
For each project fully familiarise yourself with the practices Terms of Appointment, the Client's technical requirements and aspirations, the Design Responsibility Matrix, and the practices project objectives
Report to the Head of Technical Design on progress on the resolution of technical design matters
Advise the project teams on achieving compliance with the requirements of the Building Regulations and all other relevant design and construction legislation.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
ARB registered Architect or MCIAT Chartered Architectural Technologist Extensive experience in UK urban and/or suburban housing design and master planning Minimum of 10 years post qualification experience Experience of relevant discipline competence working for both public and private sector clients Detailed knowledge of UK residential design standards and building regulations Knowledge of Technical Design and documentation for building Excellent drawing ability - AutoCAD and Revit skills preferable but not essential.
