We’re recruiting for a Senior SHE Advisor with the strategic mind and drive to deliver the best for our customers and our business. Based in either Aberdeen, you’ll manage the SHE process of construction projects up to £50m.

Your new role:

What you’ll do:

• Conduct site inspections and audits in line with agreed programmes
• Participate in significant incident investigations within the region
• Assess the SHE competence of vendors at Stage 1 of the CDM competence assessment process
• Produce written reports in relation to inspections, audits and incident investigations in accordance with agreed procedures and protocols
• Produce a written monthly report in accordance with agreed procedures and protocols for, as appropriate
• Liaise with local business heads and the HR Department in relation to the delivery and monitoring of training in accordance with core training matrices
• Attend and participate at SHE Department meetings
• Liaise with Enforcing Authorities as appropriate
• Liaise with other SHE professionals within the business as appropriate to further SHE performance

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Extensive experience and knowledge of the SHE challenges faced by multiple-site management In-depth knowledge of risks within the full construction cycle is essential NEBOSH Diploma in SH&E (or equivalent) Health and Safety or environmental management related degree would be desirable Significant exposure to the Construction Industry.
