Job Description

• Lead the UK monthly financial close
• Manage the day to day activities of the accounting team
• Review and improve processes across the team to improve efficiency and accuracy where possible
• Provide technical accounting support through strong knowledge of US & UK GAAP
• Co-ordinate the year end audit and produce the required year end statutory accounts
• Ensure all balance sheet reconciliations are completed within the month end time table
• Responsible for the corporation tax and VAT returns
• Ad Hoc responsibilities

Our client is currently partnering exclusively with an American television network based in London. They are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to report directly into the Director of Corporate Finance. This is initially a 3-6 month contract, with a potential for it to go permanent if the candidate and client are in agreement.

This is a brilliant opportunity to gain exposure within a US business who are very well known across the globe within their field. They are incredibly fast paced and require someone to hit the ground running.

• Qualified accountant
