Job Description
Established for over 30 years, this Lloyds of London insurance business are considered leaders in their space.
A critical role has been established within this team where you will make a valuable contribution to process enhancements, and develop/maintain a robust controls environment across all financial ledgers and reporting.
You will also take a leading role in the preparation of US and UK GAAP for the UK and international entities.
Your Responsibilities will include
- Manage the day to day financial accounting, reporting and controls
- Preparation of the monthly management accounts under UK and US GAAP
- Prepare monthly consolidation packs for the group
- Assist in the preparation of VAT, Corporate Tax and other tax returns
- Prepare the annual statutory accounts
- Assist in the development of improved accounting and reporting processes
- Perform a first level review of the work prepared by team members
Your Requirements
- Newly Qualified Accountant (up to 2 years PQE) with Insurance audit experience
- Experience and knowledge of US GAAP
- Experience of Sun and SAP are highly desirable
