Job Description

In addition to the accountabilities for an operations manager:

  • Supporting/directing allocated staff as necessary for the resolution complex/high risk issues.In addition to the accountability for an operations manager:
  • Representing our client in principal`s meetings as necessary
  • Validation of reports submitted by or prepared by allocated staff
  • Strategic oversight of the performance of schemes managed by allocated staff.

In Addition to those key tasks and activities of Project Manager:

  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and procedures and most particularly risk management and commercial/contractual aspects in relation to
    the work of allocated staff/teams
  • Management and leadership of colleagues and validation of their work including accuracy of reporting, content of scope of services, management of
    accounts and contract issues.

 

  • Ensure compliance with the Variations process
  • Act professionally at all times and comply with Company and Group Policies
    and Procedures.
  • To undertake such other duties appropriate to the level and character of work as may reasonably be required within the Department. Significant permanent
    changes in duties will require agreed revisions to be made to this Job

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Civil engineering/project management/QS related degree or equivalent (non- cognate degrees will be considered) OR Appropriate professional experience and/or qualifications Familiarity and confidence with the design and construction process, including project programming and commercial reporting. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Excellent communication skills Appropriate construction/development experience on a range of schemes, with exposure to line or team management responsibilities.
