Job Description

Your role will involve, but not be limited to:

• taking the central role in the supervision of electrical connection design prepared by our Client's trusted ICPs and lead in the submission and approval process with DNOs
• liaise with DNO's and ICPs to obtain the most effective connection commercially and technically, on a project-by-project basis
• on-site supervision during construction and commissioning phase
• supervise grid power studies for our Client's pipeline of battery and solar projects
• support the Head of Grid Connections to prepare the internal structures needed to start the application to become NERS accredited Independent Connection Provider
• identify the sources of likely problems and proactively take preventive measures to avoid any potential project risks, and determine response actions to mitigate any negative impact
• possess strong organizational and time management skills

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

degree qualified within Electrical Engineering; a minimum of 2+ years working experience in electrical design; be able to manage multiple issues at any one time; work to tight deadlines and prioritise accordingly; be able to interface with different company departments (development, engineering, management, etc..) with a cooperative and proactive approach; working knowledge of Solar and Battery projects; Fluent in English (written and spoken) is a prerequisite, with Spanish considered a plus; Knowledge of design software highly desirable
