Job Description

Main duties include accountability for the following:
Management of construction and pre pull gangs completing blockage, reinstatement and pre pull activity on the Virgin Media network.
All work needs to meet C&C and clients requirements. These include quality of reinstatement, compaction, proximity rules, site cleared, correct SLG.
As a manager you are field based and should spend 50% of your time in the field supporting crews.
Support yard management in the mornings ensuring crews are equipped for the day ahead.
Complete weekly van audits with each team capturing issued equipment, condition of equipment and ensure your teams are correctly equipped for safe working.
As an when required support Interim & Defect Manager with Interim & Defect activity ensuring all information is recorded and shared to help minimise bad cost
Proactive Client and LA relationship management.
Input daily, weekly KPIs including overall team performance of jobs to field, jobs completed, complaints received/resolved, jobs in perm, left in interim. Your KPI performance will be used for the wider C&C KPI Scorecard/Dashboard.
Live quality and NRSWA compliance audits whilst jobs are in flight.
Be first point of contact for all field team related activities. Provide guidance, advice and on site coaching to promote empowerment.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Must hold a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points on your licence. Hold a valid NRSWA full Supervisor Street works card, units 1, 10 to 14. Have extensive working knowledge and supervisory experience on the Virgin Media network. Experienced in using Microsoft Office Products. Ability to analyse problems and offer solutions. Self-motivated and flexible and have the drive to achieve the company and clients targets. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Risk assessment and hazard identification and a strong focus on Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental practices.
