Job Description

 

• Travel to support deployment of automation equipment
• Perform 3D LiDAR scans of physical facilities and process point cloud data
• Develop standard operating procedures for use cases of reality capture
• Train deployment engineers in use of 3D LiDAR scanning
• Process 3D LiDAR scanning data
• Perform 3D modeling of physical facilities and equipment
• Analyze multi-layer engineering models for clash detection
• Maintain database of as-builts and 3D models
• Work with field engineers to develop standard operating procedures for use cases of reality capture for automation deployment
• Work with cross-functional deployment teams to deliver timely feedback on installation errors and clashes
• At least 2 years of experience as a solutions specialist in construction BIM/AEC
• Experience programming in common computer languages including data processing, user interfaces, and statistical data analysis
• Ability to travel at least 50%

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

BS in Mechanical, Industrial, Architecture, or equivalent Competence in use and application of Autodesk (Revit, ReCap, and BIM360) or equivalent Experience processing point cloud data Industrial experience working with cross functional teams and field operations Excellent written and oral communication skills
