Job Description
  • Ensure plant operation is in accordance with all necessary licenses, permits, & regulations
  • Develop culture that encourages SAFETY and reporting: Near-miss incident, Behavioral safety visits, Anomaly hunting
  • Follow-up action plans related to event reporting (BSV, Near Misses, Incident/Accident)
  • Assessment and Improvement of Quality Management System
  • Maintain QSE systems; implement and audit to achieve compliance with ISO 9001
  • Report all site HSEQ Key Performance Indicators with AL Maritime HSEQ Director
  • Deploy the AL Maritime IMS roadmap for Aberdeen site
  • Conduct IMS internal audits and follow-up all action plans
  • Investigate incidents or accidents, conduct Root Cause Analysis, ensure corrective actions are in place and on schedule
  • Managing follow-up of IMS documentation submission
  • Accountability for production planning, distribution scheduling, cylinder stock management.
  • Determine production requirements based on plant capacity and production specifications.
  • Plan workflow for production departments.
  • Monitor production status and ensure timely delivery.
  • Identify and manage bottlenecks and capacity issues with the Production Management team, coordinate the resolution of the issues.
  • Lead monthly team meetings.
  • Assist in production risk assessment and mitigation activities.
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Evaluate current production processes and recommend improvements.
  • Create weekly/monthly reports and KPIs.
  • Resolve production planning issues
  • Assist in employee hiring, training, performance evaluation, retention and termination activities.

Administration:

  • System input (AX Dynamics & ALOS Tracking System)
  • Performs studying work of Standard Operating Procedures, P&ID's, PFD's, and all other technical documentation as related to plant specific equipment.
  • Responsible for non conformance issues
  • Reconcile Helium inventory

Process improvement

  • Safe work permit
  • Energy control isolation and IDL's
  • Confined space entry work
  • Hot works
  • Work plans
  • Plant safety inspections
  • Accident – Incident and Near miss reporting
  • Emergency response training
  • Testing and analysis of gases final QC
  • AX & Tracking system knowledge
  • NCR analysis and closure
  • Understanding of all relevant SOP’s

 

  • Engineering degree / HSE certification preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in HSEQ Management on an Industrial site
  • Familiar with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Standard, Health and Safety Management
  • Comfortable developing the Company’s HSEQ systems
  • Strong customer focus
  • HSE and compliance with company/industry standards
  • AL plant Safety rules, regulation deep knowledge
  • Exhibit Mechanical ability
  • Gathering and organizing accurately quantitative and qualitative information
  • Making things right and accurate the first time
  • Performing actions towards Safety, Health and environment protection

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Provides HSEQ leadership, training and operational support Have a high level of competency and accuracy in writing and maintaining clear and professional documentation relating to integrated management systems Strong planning, organisational, teamwork and presentation skills Computer literate with Microsoft Office / Google environment to a proficient level with good typing skills Time management/balancing multiple priorities Self – motivated and able to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Problem solving skills
