Job Description

· Provides Subsea Controls System discipline expertise to the Hubs and projects across the entire asset life cycle

· Monitor and maintain subsea controls system availability

· Works in conjunction with Subsea Surveillance Engineers, Tieback Project Teams, OEM’s and specialist vendors

· Supports the delivery of cost-effective subsea projects and inspection, repair and maintenance campaigns

· Provides subsea controls discipline expertise from conceptual FEED through design, installation, commissioning and operation

· Fault finding and remediation definition

· Provides costed justification for recommended work to Hub management

· Develop detailed annual and long-term plans and budgets

· Cost control and planning

· Conduct assurance activities on the assets in the above areas

· Deliver annual subsea asset integrity reports

· Ensure, integrity strategies are implemented for subsea controls systems

· Supports subsea asset technical and integrity related work and reporting

· Carries out offshore site visits including audits as required

· Mobilise offshore during subsea construction/IRM campaigns as Company technical representative

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

· In depth knowledge and familiarity with current UKCS legislative framework is required · Extensive subsea controls system background preferably gained within an OEM. · Strong technical background within subsea production/control system intervention and extensive operational work pack development experience. · Contract management experience also required · Participation within multi-discipline Safety Reviews, including HAZID / HAZOP / HIRA · Contribute/review/assist for Project/Activity deliverable documents and deviations to standards and standard practices · Provides input into the investigation of vessel and related systems' failures
