Job Description

Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Chasing debt from 20 Local Authorities across the North West
  • Hold a ledger value of approximately £2.5million, which will involve navigating Local Authority portals
  • Deal with queries via telephone, email and face to face and escalate difficult queries to managers
  • Hold responsibility for cash allocation, general banking and bank reconciliations
  • Raise of sales invoices and hold a general understanding of invoices
  • Put customers on payment plans where necessary when struggling to pay invoices
  • Produce account reconciliations for specific accounts and ensured they had been updated onto the database
  • Update and prepare direct debit collection schedules to ensure customer payments are made on time

Working hours:

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday 9am-5pm (flexi-time available)
