Credit Controller

Job Description
Duties will include (but not limited to):
- Chasing debt from 20 Local Authorities across the North West
- Hold a ledger value of approximately £2.5million, which will involve navigating Local Authority portals
- Deal with queries via telephone, email and face to face and escalate difficult queries to managers
- Hold responsibility for cash allocation, general banking and bank reconciliations
- Raise of sales invoices and hold a general understanding of invoices
- Put customers on payment plans where necessary when struggling to pay invoices
- Produce account reconciliations for specific accounts and ensured they had been updated onto the database
- Update and prepare direct debit collection schedules to ensure customer payments are made on time

Working hours:
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday - Friday 9am-5pm (flexi-time available)
