Credit Controller

Job Description
  • Communication and building trust with a portfolio of customers / clients
  • Chasing late payments
  • Discussing any issues around payments and making finance agreements to move forward
  • Entering all information into the bespoke system
  • Using Excel to sort and manipulate data and check where payments are actually outstanding
  • Manage all information and in line with strict FCA regulations
  • Receipting money into the system
  • Escalating any payment issues in line with company policies.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to work in a telephone based role and previous experience liaising with customers over the telephone is essential Knowledge or understanding of debits / credits would be an advantage Able to work in line with strict FCA regulations and follow company policies Strong organisational skills and able to multi-task Ability to build customer relationships Excellent communication skills both written & verbal Excellent telephone manner Accurate data processing skills.
