Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of key services to the project facilities in respect of financial, procedural and operational obligations via GTFM staff and approved sub-contractors including recording the identification of shortfalls and instigating improvements
  • Manage the reporting of events and tasks to the Helpdesk and follow through the same to completion working to stick SLAs and deadlines at all times.
  • Develop, manage and regularly review the Planned Preventative Maintenance module of the CAFM system.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive asset registers as required to ensure the project assets are identified and maintained in line with Statutory Compliance obligations, SHTM, Legislation, Good Practice and the Output Specification.
  • Develop an understanding of the project contracts and processes and ensure these are adhered to at all times.
  • Develop and enhance working relationships with the Client Representatives and manage meetings with client and relevant user groups as required and produce effective, timely and relevant communication with them at all times.
  • Liaise with GTFM specialist sub-contractors engaged in the delivery of the Services to arrange works, site visits and meetings and ensure production of service reports and paperwork is to a high standard.
  • Manage a team of on-site and mobile engineers, carrying out all related HR functions including recruitment, personal development reviews and disciplinary processes.
  • Develop and manage a programme of Health & Safety inspections across facilities and services and participate in scheduled site inspections, ensuring that all H&S Regulations, SHTM requirements and Galliford Try Health & Safety Standards are adhered to at all times.
  • Develop and maintain processes in the preparation, pricing, programming and delivery of Small Works, Major Variations and Lifecycle Plans from inception to completion.
  • Participate in all internal and external audits identified by GTFM the Client or external parties
  • A full clean driving licence will be required to undertake this role.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Successful track record of delivering Facility Services to include Hard services, H&S, and statutory compliance are essential Experience of Healthcare and Adult/Higher education facility management would put you at an advantage along with an awareness of SHTM guidance Proven track record in Compliance Proven track record in staff/ contractor management and ability to manage client relationships Hold general qualifications in IOSH / NEBOSH
