Job Description

The Leven in Stokesley are looking for a confident, trustworthy and enthusiastic individual to provide a high level of customer service and support to the small friendly team in the smooth running of the business. You will be working towards the Hospitality Team Member Apprenticeship Standard and gaining experience in both front of house and the kitchen.

Duties to Include:

• Taking food and drink orders
• Serving food and drink including alcohol
• Maintaining a high standard of customer service
• Ensuring serving areas are cleared quickly and efficiently
• Preparing and serving hot beverages
• Preparing and checking bills and receiving payment
• Maintaining a safe, hygienic and secure working environment
• Assisting with all preparations and delivery of day to day service
• Other duties as requested

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Excellent customer service skills. Good communication and listening skills. The right applicant should be open to learning new skills in all aspects of the position available and have a friendly, outgoing personality and a good work ethic. A* - D or equivalent in math and English is preferred by the employer.
