Your new role
The main purpose of the role is to administer a comprehensive credit control process from end to end for both a varied ledger, with customers from primarily the UK but also Ireland. Your key responsibilities will include:
Managing the debtor book across the group
Process financial transactions daily, ensuring that accounting processes and controls are adhered to.
Manage relationships with key internal stakeholders within Finance, Sales and Sales Operations.
Own and continuously improve the credit control systems in collaboration with our finance manager and our sales and finance teams
Engage with the administrative process to drive down debtor days, working typically with high volume, low value transactions.
Provide weekly reports summarising Aged Debtor analysis including narrative of any at risk accounts.
Manage accounts receivable mailboxes, dealing with invoice queries and disputes as they arise.
Assist in the completion of due diligence checks on new customers.
This is a full time role working 37.5 hours Monday to Friday. This is an office based role but there is scope for some flexible or home working.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You will need to have previous experience managing a full credit process from start to finish in a similar fast paced environment.Ideally you will have Insurance or Financial Services experience but this is not essential. You must have excellent organisational skills and good attention to detail as well as a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Ideally you will have a CICM qualification.
