Outstanding opportunity for a recently qualified accountant to join a fun and friendly finance team. Lovely broad role with lots of exposure across the business.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, key responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of the monthly reporting pack and variance commentaries
• Automating group reporting to ensure quality MI is provided in a timely manner
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparation of quarterly VAT returns and EC Sales lists
• Compilation of the Group consolidated accounts
• Cash-flow forecasting - management of debtors, creditors and project costs
• Budget preparation & reporting
• Working with other departments to ensure tight cost controls versus budget
• Assisting with preparing the Group for their first audit
• Technical accounting reviews of contracts and agreements
• Driving process improvements throughout the business
• Dealing with Board Directors and Senior Management on a regular basis

Key Requirements:

• ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or finalist with strong experience
• Energetic, driven individual
• Ability to build reporting packs in Excel
• Netsuite experience is a big plus
• Experience/Interest in Media sector ideal
• Strong communicator
• Team player with a hands-on can do attitude
