Computershare is looking for a Java developer to join our growing Global Development team in Edinburgh city Centre. We aim to grow from 30 people in the team up to 70 over the coming months. We recently acquired a leading European employee share plan business with an innovative range of client solutions.
We are now making a long-term investment to enhance these applications and migrate
Computershare’s existing and new clients onto the platform. The investment is not only in people but also our Edinburgh office, as we continue to build out an experienced Global Development Team, ultimately making Edinburgh a Development Hub for Computershare.

We are working on several projects including but not limited to, integrating 2 software systems to get the best blend of both. This long-term project will also take in migration of clients across the globe (EMEA, Asia and USA.) The exciting challenges in the team include scalability of the systems and scaling the products for large volumes of clients.
You will work within our cross-functional agile teams and be involved throughout the full development lifecycle from requirements elicitation to the delivery of high-quality solutions. Our development team in Edinburgh will be formed of existing staff with years of knowledge of our domain and new employees who will bring additional technology expertise and experience.
