Job Description

 

As a Stakeholder Engagement Co-ordinator you will be responsible for enhancing and building relationships with the wider community whilst supporting business and project goals. This will involve; managing a project skills and employment plan and acting as the interface between the project and the public.

Working in conjunction with management, the role holder will initiate and co-ordinate the development of strategic relationships and partnerships with clients, stakeholders and communities to meet both contractual requirements and customer care standard.

  • Work with all levels of staff to deliver and co-ordinate a programme of community events.
  • Present feedback on events to line management.
  • Identify those affected by the works to develop a Customer Care plan outlining measures to minimise disruption including preparing project notifications.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all project public interfaces.
  • Provide, guidance and support to project team in respect of Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) to include; compiling and maintaining information and attending CCS audits.
  • Deliver local training initiatives alongside community stakeholders.
  • Forge strong working relationships with the client, local authorities, media (with client approval) and other stakeholders to deliver the key messages and benefits of the project.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience engaging with the public in a customer facing environment. Knowledge, interest or experience of the construction industry. Excellent Communications skills with ability to articulate messages clearly and concisely in an engaging style. Proven track record of devising and implementing events, presentations and training. Experience networking with key community stakeholders and ability to proactively manage contacts. Excellent IT skills, report writing and presentation skills.
