Job Description

The post holder will be expected to contribute to the development and management of Planned and Cyclical work programmes improvement plans.

  • Establish, monitor and renew contract KPIs annually to ensure effective ongoing evaluation of contractor performance
  • Liaise regularly with internal and external customers ensuring they are fully informed of all planned upgrades and associated work.
  • Work with the Contracts Manager and Team Leader in monitoring budget expenditure and payment/valuations to ensure they are consistent with project cash flows and are in-line with Place for People policies.
  • The Project Officer is responsible for managing a portfolio of projects delegated by the Team Leader in line with the Asset Management Strategy and Plan.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Minimum of HNC level qualification in a construction based discipline. Demonstrable experience in a directly related position within a similar organisation Experience of working within local government or social housing. Experience in the management and supervision of service based contracts such as ground maintenance, stair cleaning contracts, roofing and void work.
