Job Description
Maintain records and liaise with bank in respect of Invoice Finance Facility· Proactively chase outstanding debt by phone, email, letter to facilitate high levels of cash flow and reduce Debtor balances·
Allocate cash / BACS/Cheques and prepare cheque sheet for customer accounts on a daily basis ·
Credit check new and old clients and set up new accounts·
Liaise regularly with Sales Department / Finance Department to cross check orders, ensure clients are billed within agreed framework ·
Inform customers of account terms and credit limits applied and deal with any payment enquiries·
Ongoing monitor and assess of customer credit limits and payment terms·
Stop customer accounts when debts become overdue and initiate legal proceedings to recover debts when necessary·
Other duties as required such as post check payment, holiday cover for other members of Finance Dept
Work within guideline and report to Head of Finance
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Totally fluent in Mandarin AND/OR Cantonese Previous Job experience with Receivable Finance· Previous experience of carrying out account reconciliations· At least three year previous experience in similar role· Strong interpersonal skills with good oral and written communication· Good skills in Word and Excel spreadsheets· Ability to work on own initiative, can-do attitude, time management and prioritization· Team player with emphasis on good communication with other departments· Good at numbers and strong attention to detail and accuracy This position will suit a candidate who has worked with a high volume of accounts, from a similar FMCG background.
