Job Description

The ideal candidate will have significant skill in, and proven success with channels such as: digital marketing, email nurturing, inbound marketing, search engine marketing (SEM), content marketing, paid advertising, sales enablement, event promotion, content syndication and key systems that include Marketo & Salesforce. The candidate MUST also be an expert in GDPR and will have a proven track record of implementing successful programs that are GDPR compliant.

This leadership position within the EMEA team requires a scrappy, 'get it done' candidate with strong initiative, strategic thinking, and proven demand generation experience in the region. Key skills include direct-response writing, creative direction, analytics & reporting, marketing automation platform applied experience, and project management expertise. It also requires a proven ability to work with the sales team and effectively work with marketing peers across the organization. Experience driving demand in EMEA countries in AND outside of the UK a huge plus.

This marketer will analyze engagement data and continue to refine and adjust online marketing/demand generation approaches to maximize return and help the company land sales meetings that grow the pipeline. Your role will work within a larger, dynamic marketing organization filled with domain experts in-order to promote go-to-market strategies, and continually leveraging various channels & tactics that generate interest in and offer education around the value of gathering customer feedback for those in UX, CX, Product, and Marketing. Knowledge of, and experience with targeting, these buyer types in previous roles is a plus.

  • Plan and execute end-to-end demand generation and inbound marketing programs, which include, but are not limited to: SEO, SEM, paid media, email marketing, nurture programs, webinars, live event promotion, account-based marketing, etc...
  • Create and activate multi-channel campaigns to drive MQLs and sales pipeline, while closely monitoring conversion rates and optimizing campaigns at each stage.
  • Work closely as a partner to the Director of EMEA Corporate Marketing to build a localized marketing strategy together for the key European markets and to digitally support the wider activity, including trade show activations, PR, social, field events, external partnerships and thought leadership campaigns.
  • Partner with product marketing, corporate marketing, researchers, EMEA Sales, and a wide variety of internal & external thought-leaders to develop persona and industry based marketing campaigns designed to drive interest and attract new buyers throughout the pre-sales process.
  • Build programs in Marketo and implement tracking & reporting processes that help generate learnings and improve programs on an ongoing basis.
  • Experience leveraging people, process, and technology to drive intelligent automation of prospect and customer interactions.
  • Comfortable partnering closely with sales leaders and reps. Ensure correct lead distribution and consistent follow-up. Build an ongoing feedback loop using reports and regular conversations to ensure clarity across teams and no leads gets left behind.
  • Extract data-driven insights about marketing programs & initiatives and provide ideas to optimize a wide range of marketing programs; review weekly, monthly, and quarterly metrics for ongoing learning and internal communications and presentations.
  • Individual contributor position to start with the ability to build a team as our EMEA presence continues to grow.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Bachelor's degree or higher plus a 7-10 years experience in an Enterprise B2B Demand Generation Role (SMB marketing experience a plus as well). Proven Demand Gen leader with the ability to build and execute campaigns and broad-based programs that include digital marketing, email marketing, SEM, SEO, webinars, direct mail, sales outreach, event promotion, and much more. Marketo experience, including the independent ability to build various programs, create new landing pages for conversion testing, triggers & alerts, dynamic content, operational programs, data hygiene, etc. Responsible, hardworking, dedicated, and ability to multitask are required traits for this role. Friendly, flexible, and willingness to both collaborate heavily as well as work independently. Acute attention to detail. Ability to thrive in an extremely fast-paced environment.
