Real Estate Business - you must have Property/Real estate experience to apply

The role sits in a multinational Property Investment business and works as part of team that has responsibility for valuation of real estate funds, fund accounting, financial reporting and VAT. It's a newly created position due to growth and offers a variety of duties. The business puts progression to the front and this role will suit you if you are ambitious and driven in your career

The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for management reporting, financial accounting and business partnering support. Responsibilities include:

• Preparation of monthly management reporting
• Monthly bank reconciliation and quarterly audit schedules
• Timely month-end closing
• Inter-company reconciliation
• Ensuring timely preparation of full set of financial statements
• Handling tax matters (such as VAT and corporate/income tax)
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Internal control and compliance; serving as a key driver for implementation of Group policies, processes and systems
• Providing financial project management support for asset management initiatives and development projects.

Experience

You must be a Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)

Property experience is essential

Good knowledge of IFRS and/or GAAP

You will business partner with different people across the firm so communication is essential
