THE ROLE

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be part of a multilingual Finance Team and work in a high-volume invoicing environment. Duties include:

• Liaise with banks regarding invoice financing processes
• Chase outstanding monies by phone, email, letter
• Recoup late payments
• Deal with payment enquiries and re-negotiate payment terms where necessary
• Ensure clients are billed on time
• Manage the debtor's ledger
• Set up new client accounts
• Credit check new potential clients
• Manage cash allocations, authorise BACS payments (with the Finance Department)
• Maintain ledgers
• Supporting Finance Department where necessary

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience as a Credit Controller or accounts receivable
• Native level Mandarin Chinese and fluent English
• Advanced Excel
• Used to working in a high invoice volume environment (ideally in FMCG or similar)
