Job Description

As an Account Executive you will proactively engage with businesses across Europe with the aim to identify, qualify, pursue and close clinical services within an assigned region to achieve revenue and new business objectives.

The Role

  • Present Catalent's Clinical Supplies Services capabilities knowledgeably and effectively with customers, and craft specific targeted solutions that meet customers' clinical supply chain needs
  • Provide input into pricing strategy and negotiation and issuing quotations to assigned customers
  • Achieve annual revenue, sales and quotes targets.
  • Work with legal to execute appropriate and negotiate service agreements.
  • Facilitate contractual negotiation with management
  • Support and facilitate the development proposals working closely with client services and operations and negotiate these proposals.
  • Collaborate with Senior Leaderships, Global Account Directors and other Business Units BD teams in the construction and execution of their strategic account plan(s), if applicable.
  • Participate in tradeshows, exhibits and professional organizations.
  • Organize and participate in customer and potential customer visits.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Bachelor's Degree in Business or Science preferred Experience of developing business within pharma, clinical trails or medical device industry 5 years of experience in biopharmaceuticals or equivalent. Business travel upwards of 50% initially (first 10-12 months) and 30-40% in steady state is required.
