Job Description

Our client, who is in the construction and energy industry, has an excellent opportunity for an assistant finance manager to join them on a temp to perm contract. This will be based in Bathgate.

Main Duties:

• Day to day management and development of the Finance team to deliver month end thus ensuring deadlines are achieve in support of the Finance Manager and second Assistant Finance Manager
• Assisting with the preparation of statutory audits
• Contribute to the development and implementation of Company strategies, policies and practices
• Provide cover and support to other members of the finance team
• Contributing to cash flow management, budgets and annual audit
• Producing adhoc reports and performing ad hoc tasks as and when they arise

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Significant experience of working in a Finance Team Competent in all Microsoft Packages Ability to work using own initiative as well as part of a team Experience performing Management and Financial accounting task Degree or equivalent experience with potentially working towards or completed ACCA Applied Skills or CIMA Management Level Full UK driving licence Disclosure Check
