Job Description

To support our core activities, we are looking for someone dynamic to join us in a role of a Product Manager. You will work across Product and the broader business focused on three core areas; 1) growth of business revenue by helping find product/market fit, 2) owning and optimizing our products and 3) coordinating product discovery, design and launch processes. No week will be the same. You can expect to:

  • Take ownership over specific Products and manage their lifecycle and product / market fit.
  • Specifically, the focus of this role will be on delivering commitment to the Banking Competition Remedy by creating products that will transform accountants' ability to manage payments for the growing SME market. Working closely with Accountancy and Payroll integration partners to create game changing products with a clear product/market fit.
  • Working with cross-functional teams to deliver a best in class go to market strategy from product delivery through to full product launch.
  • Lead the Customer research strategy across your product set, to meet the real need of the customer and confidently communicate research findings and insights to the rest of the business.
  • Own and develop the product strategy for the future of the Partner integration vertical and deliver first in class products to support this.
  • Coordinate the cross-functional activity in launching new or enhancing products and features for the Accounting, Payroll and SME market.
  • Work with the broader product team to support our product portfolio and actively manage its market fit across a number of verticals, distribution channels and partners (e.g. refreshing value prop briefs, building and refining pricing models, producing best practice collateral, conducting user research and writing feature briefs).
  • Work with our market development teams to understand, assess and specify new market requirements and how the integration partners, the company platform and API components can be positioned to address them.
  • Work with sales, account managers and presales teams to build and compile best in class solution designs and pitches for strategic opportunities.
  • Work with the Product team to research and refine strategy for Partner integrations, focusing on value and timing of initiatives.
  • Lead individual strategic initiatives that open new markets and channel partner opportunities.
  • Across the business you will champion the customer's and user's perspective and help teams understand the value company creates for its clients.

You'll be a great fit if:

  • You have experience working in the accounting and payroll space and would be eager to be a part of the rapidly changing environment that Fintech is driving within this sector.
  • You are excited about the prospect of taking ownership of new and existing products and setting out the best way to deliver their goals in a rapidly changing market.
  • You are equally comfortable working in market talking to clients and prospects, distilling their requirements for internal teams and supporting technical product delivery activities.
  • You get a buzz from solving problems.
  • You are comfortable with holding hypotheses loosely until they've been validated. You are not afraid to change tack based on data.
  • You are excited about working with high-performing teams, pitching in where your inputs will have the most impact and equally comfortable to lead or contribute.
  • You are structured and organized, able to handle the competing long term demands of strategic initiatives and urgent short-term tasks
