Job Description

The successful candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified and will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of clients whilst managing and reviewing the work of junior staff.

You will oversee the preparation of year-end accounts, management accounts, bookkeeping, VAT etc. whilst acting as the primary point of contact for the firm’s clients and be liaising directly with the Partners. You will also be experienced in the use of using cloud-based accounting software packages, such as Sage, Xero and QuickBooks.

Salary is dependent on experience and our client is offering an excellent remuneration and benefits package for the right individual.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing all aspects of the client portfolio, acting as the main point of contact
  • Preparation and review of statutory accounts
  • Management accounts preparation
  • Preparation and review of Tax compliance
  • Dealing with HMRC and other third parties
  • Training junior staff and reviewing their work
  • Client meetings
  • Advising clients on cloud software
  • Assisting with other ad hoc assignments
  • Reporting directly to the Partners
  • Business development

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
ACA/ ACCA Qualified. ACA/ ACCA Finalist/ Part Qualified also considered. A strong background in accountancy practice. Good communication skills.
