Job Description

The Finance Executive will carry out payments in compliance with Target and its client policies, procedures and processes.

They will undertake activities including, but not limited to;

• Redress Payments
• Redemption Payments
• Maturity Payments
• Income Payments
• Transaction Posting
• Identification and assessment of risks to ensure that appropriate controls are implemented and monitored, through process monitoring and reviews
• Review payments to ensure they have been processed within SLA and signed in accordance with the mandates
• Ensure breaches are logged and reported within the relevant timeframes, ensure breaches are being closed in timely manner
• Working with operation areas to identify business improvement actions, implementing controls and reporting on progress. Ensure procedures accurately reflect controls.
• Produce and analyze management information
• Supporting first line of defense controls.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Experience within a Payment process team. Demonstrable experience of delivering customer focus outcomes in a regulatory environment. Sound working knowledge of Microsoft package. Experience processing and organizing large payment runs. Knowledge of financial services including CASS and COB requirements. Experience working in a FSA Regulatory Environment.
