Job Description

The Position:

Reporting to the Head of AEC Practice, some of your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Drive customer success, becoming their trusted GIS advisor, identifying decision makers and demonstrating to them our product capabilities, functionalities and benefits
  • Identify, qualify, negotiate and close sales opportunities within our existing customers base, ensuring the proposals meet the required margins and cost of sale.
  • Work with the customer to develop a Customer Success Plan, identifying and recommending the best use and maximizing their ROI for using GIS within their organisation
  • Have detailed and documented account plan for customers with short, medium and long-term actions
  • Maintain accurate and timely sales pipeline and forecast reporting
  • Using and organizing resources from across our business, prepare and present compelling sales proposals
  • Maintain customers’ existing spend
  • Identify and take ownership of customer problems / issues and work with the wider Esri UK team to resolve them
  • Liaise with professional services and project managers to ensure all opportunities are appropriately resourced in a timely manner to budget

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Have experience of driving customer success through advocacy, resulting in new sell on value propositions Have a keen business acumen, gained through working in the AEC sector across all industry sectors Can demonstrate a thorough understanding of customer business processes and challenges and can build enduring relationships Have a demonstrable track record of successfully identifying and managing new sales within your customers Have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of GIS technology, enabling you to innovate and propose GIS based solutions for complex business problems Are self-sufficient and are keen to join the growing AEC practice Have excellent networking, negotiation, facilitation and communication skills Currently live in and have unrestricted entitlement to work in the UK
