Job Description

To cover maternity leave - however, with the growth of the business we foresee that a permanent role will be necessary.

We are seeking to recruit a highly organized individual who can support the Financial Controller and assist with administrative tasks.

Training will be given to the right candidate

Credit Control Chasing debtor’s accounts

Running debtor’s reports

Posting customers receipts to sales ledger

Banking

Purchasing Raising purchase orders with suppliers

Sourcing new suppliers/products

Purchase Ledger Matching P/I with P/O and delivery notes

Check invoices against supplier prices

Process invoices onto Sage

Reconcile supplier statements

Preparing and process monthly payment runs

Enter all supplier payments

Reconcile supplier accounts

Enter credit card payments into sage

Reconciling credit card statements

General Accounts Duties Arranging collection of goods

To maintain a comprehensive filing and retrieval system

Product Labels Managing the stock levels

Ordering new labels

Type up new labels

Courier Dealing with queries, pricing

General Office Duties Answering phones/taking customer orders/Liaising with customers/After sales/General office duties

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Experience:

  • Bookkeeping: 1 year (Required)
  • administrating : 2 years (Required)
  • sage : 1 year (Preferred)

Education:

  • GCSE or equivalent (Preferred)

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong, evident administrative skills. Highly organized – implement workable filing & retrieval systems. Forward thinking, self-sufficient with ability to use initiative. First class communication and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task and manage workload appropriately. Enthusiastic approach, with a can-do attitude. Strong knowledge of MS Office -Word, Excel, Outlook and Sage Line 50.
