Job Description
The successful individual is expected to be an independent leader, a subject matter expert in fire safety engineering technologies, methods and practices by keeping current with emerging trends and market shifts in order to recommend and implement best practices and client-centric solutions. This role will be part of the wider Fire Engineering team at Entuitive and the candidate will initially take a leadership approach to delivering projects and contribute to the growth of the fire engineering team in the UK. The individual will ensure all work is carried out in full support of our Vision, Mission, Values and One Company culture.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in civil or mechanical engineering with a focus on fire safety engineering, accompanied by a membership with associations like IFE We will select candidates using the competencies noted above, but it is expected that the successful candidate will have developed these competencies over a period of around 10 years demonstrating a proven track record of delivering complex and sophisticated fire safety strategies. Experience interpreting and applying regulatory codes and standards to ensure compliance. Demonstrated ability to develop performance-based solutions meeting the requirements of the regulations and achieving approvals. Experience developing and/or reviewing computer models for engineered solutions, including PyroSim, MassMotion, and SAFIR. Knowledgeable of local market conditions, emerging trends, and opportunities. Strong business acumen, and the ability to exercise sound judgment. Proven ability to build relationships and develop networks. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to manage complex situations with multiple stakeholders utilizing conflict resolution skills. Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Proven client service capability along with the experience to effectively manage multiple teams simultaneously.
