Job Description

The main purpose of this post will be to provide a comprehensive and confidential clerical and receptionist support in relation to emergency attendances and admissions.

The post holder will provide a full reception service to patients, visitors and staff, coordinating and booking appointments, ensuring all patients are booked, transferred, admitted and discharged correctly throughout their journey in the AECU Department.

The post holder will be trained to use WPAS (Myrddin) to input and extract data, and undertake a full range of clerical duties to ensure the smooth running of the whole of the AECU Department.

An understanding of customer care and meeting the needs of the general public is necessary for this position, therefore an excellent telephone and communication manner will need to be demonstrated.
