Job Description

A rapidly growing Lloyd’s insurance broker is currently recruiting for a new Senior Financial Accountant.

Reporting to the Finance Director, the successful applicant will support with the production of high quality management information to the senior management of the Group, and ensure the continued delivery of robust financial control.

More specifically, this will include the production of monthly management accounts, monthly cashflow forecasts and client money reconciliations, VAT & GST returns, regulatory returns for the Group’s subsidiary companies, the group’s annual budget and year-end financial statements, implementing and reviewing the adequacy of the Group’s internal controls with respect to financial matters, review of departmental procedures and providing assistance to junior team members.

Applicants must be qualified accountants with previous insurance accounting experience (ideally gained within a Lloyd’s broker), have a proven track record of senior management interaction and possess excellent planning ability.
