Role Summary:
We have fantastic opportunities for Intermediate Quantity Surveyors to join our growing Commercial teams across the Yorkshire and North East regions. These roles play a vital part in the overall success of our busy frameworks with Yorkshire Water and Northumbrian Water and you will be joining a growing team with a strong reputation in the UK Construction industry.
Main Responsibilities:
Provide support to the Commercial team within respective Projects
Prepare subcontract tender packages and place relevant orders
Prepare tender and contract documents
Commercial reporting and cost forecasting
Provide sub-contractor management to Projects
Manage payments for completed work
Ensure cost control is maintained throughout all functions (procurement, delivery, design)

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Formal Q.S Qualification (HND or BSc) Experience in a similar role from a civils or M&E background Looking to progress as a Quantity Surveyor Water/Wastewater Experience - preferred but not essential Flexibility to travel when required Knowledge of NEC construction contracts Strong IT skills with experience of databases and MS Office Full clean UK driving licence A can-do attitude!
