Preparation of budgets and forecasts, including cash flow and working capital management
Preparation of, and commentary on, monthly management and project accounts
Reporting results and holding Budget owners to account
Take lead in project managing and claiming existing government grant awards and acting as finance lead in the preparation of new grant applications, particularly for the Tooling requirements of the business
Inter-Company accounting and management recharges, branch accounting & EIS compliance, observing Isle of Man / UK residency rules
Assisting the Company tax advisor as required, particularly with regards to preparing the annual R&D Tax Credits claim
Year-end audit planning / general auditor relationship management
Support team development with the growth of the business e.g. AR/credit control, AP, export management and documentation requirements
Assisting with the monitoring of the Bill of Material costs
Weekly & Daily KPI reporting
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Skills / Experience; Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA preferred) plus 2 years Post Qualification Experience is preferred The role requires someone who can work autonomously and make an instant impact Gravitas to demonstrate credibility is necessary for interaction with senior management and investors, analysts, and professional advisors Strong evidence of presentation skills (data, written, verbal) to a range of finance and non-finance audiences Attitude, determination, and ability to grow with the role as it develops will be highly valued
