Senior Capital Accountant
Job Description
Our client is delighted to be assisting a London based Large social care Housing association recruiting for a Senior Capital Accountant.
The Senior Capital Accountant will be reporting to the Group Accounting Manager. You will be leading a highly skilled team to provide the highest standard of accounting for this London Based Social Care Housing Association's core assets and deliver excellent reporting to management and other stakeholders at all levels of the business. As a senior Capital Accountant, you must have technical Excellence, an eye for detail, proficient with collaborative working and a high level of business understanding.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified accountant with experience in positions that reflect the technical requirements and profile of this role, with an obvious expert understanding of relevant accounting requirements.
- Experienced Finance Business Partner with the ability to work collaboratively with all parts of the business
- A high level of technical accounting knowledge and skills. Fully informed on relevant accounting requirements for costs, grants, tax, regulatory and other developments which affect capital transactions of the sector.
- Advanced Excel spreadsheet skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Experience of Sun, Q &A and Vision Excel would be a bonus - but you must be technically savvy enough to adapt and fully exploit our systems to drive efficiency's.
- A proven record of showing initiative and working effectively as part of a team with low supervision in a changing environment and changing customer needs.
- A track record of successfully managing complex accounting issues and projects.
- A high level of written and verbal communication and influencing skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and targets.
