Your new role

As standalone credit manager, you will be aiding in the transition of the company's current credit control function which is moving to Leeds. This job will have a strong focus on your ability to manage relationships with key clients who make up the majority of company sales. You will have a sense of commercial awareness which will come in useful when dealing with complex customer queries, ideally allowing you to take a prevention based approach to your credit control function.

Ledger balances can hold multi-million pound values so experience with this size of ledger is vital. You will also run forecast and debtor reports whilst providing key strategic input to the financial controller. This role will also involve multiple currencies as you will deal with export business.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You will be an experienced credit control specialist with experience dealing with high value ledgers. Your excellent relationship building skill and commercial awareness mean you will be able to navigate complex and longstanding customer relationships. Due to the nature of the business experience within a similar industry such as retail, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, or FMCG is ideal. Experience with SAP is essential.
