Job Description

We are looking for a strong, progressive qualified Finance Manager/Financial Controller with experience working within a growing SME. You must have proven experience in process improvement/development and the creation of new financial models.

• Managing a growing team, including further recruitment, training and staff development
• Working with the board and Senior Management Team to ensure concise numbers are presented monthly to aid decision making
• Producing monthly management accounts including commentary and analysis
• Presenting numbers and accounts to board of Directors
• Analysing current processes including reviewing, changing and implementing processes internally across all areas of finance
• Heading up process automation across Purchase Ledger and Credit Control - working with finance team to assist with the change
• Creating new financial models including budgeting, forecasting and KPI reporting
• Create a new costing model to roll out through the business allowing Department Managers to work to set KPI targets and budgets clearly
• Ensure balance sheet is fully reconciled
• Cash flow forecasting and detailed reporting
• Responsible for budget process, re-forecasting and presenting information to the board
• Overseeing production of statutory accounts and dealing with auditors

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Qualified Accountant - ACA/CIMA/ACCA Experience working within a growing SME Confident, experience in finance and strong communication skills at board level Commercial awareness and the ability to influence
