If you are a newly qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with solid Audit or Accounts experience and you have an interest in the world of TV/Films and Sport then read on.

Clients include many of the major Hollywood studios, as well as many independent film and television production companies in the US and UK. The firm also works with many other entities ancillary to film and television production, such as film financiers, post production houses and other service providers.

There also may be the opportunity to work on one-off projects, particularly within the corporate finance department.

The role has a higher % of time spent in the firm's offices than a traditional Audit role which is an added attraction for many. This allows great interaction with the rest of the team and more day to day involvement in the firm in their fantastic city based offices.

Responsibilities:

Aside from the typical Audit work you might expect as a newly qualified Audit Senior, the more specialist work you would be involved in would be as follows

Preparation and audit of British film certifications

Preparation of production expenditure analyses for inclusion in tax returns

Preparation and audit of production cost reports for both individual productions and co-productions

Preparation and audit of funding applications and reports

Preparation of business plans and financial models to reflect varied businesses and opportunities within the film and television industries

Preparation of valuations for film titles, film libraries, income streams and other intellectual property

Requirements

Newly qualified Accountant / Audit Senior (ACA/ACCA/equivalent)

Applicants will normally have been successful in the education system to 2.1 degree level.

Professional training experience should have been broad based with exposure to a good range of clients both in size and sector with a strong pass rate (ACA/ACCA or Equivalent)
