We are looking to recruit an experienced Office Administrator to provide back-office and administrative support to our busy Sales, Hire & Service departments. This is a highly varied and at times busy role with no two days the same, the ideal candidate must be able to manage and prioritise their workload accordingly.
Managing telephone and e-mail queries and directing calls to the relevant departments.
Supporting the Financial Controller with Purchase and Sales ledger input onto QuickBooks.
General office administration duties, including the updating of spreadsheets and filing documents.
Regular credit control duties and reporting back to the financial controller about overdue debts.
Maintaining and updating customer and supplier records.
Sales Order Processing and invoicing on all website sales via eBay & Wix.
Process information and pass to the order management team for processing orders
Provide superior customer service for enquiries.
Raising Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders in line with company procedure and policy.
Booking courier daily via InXpress.
Strictly adhere to GDPR and confidentiality policies.

Possess a variety of strong computer skills, including experience of operating word processing and database packages, spreadsheets, email and internet. Possess a courteous and friendly telephone manner. Able to work under pressure. Maintain a systematic filing system for prompt retrieval of documentation. Able to work as part of a team. Able to assimilate new technology and systems quickly. Attention to detail and be able to complete work accurately and to deadlines. Experience in QuickBooks Accounting Software.
