Our client, a thriving Global Business with Head office in Hoddesdon are currently looking to source an ambitious Management Accountant to join their team. This role will primarily be based at the Hoddesdon site, reporting to the Senior Management Accountant.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Carry out month end activities:
• Journal preparation, review and posting.
• Review variances and provide commentary for the site and business unit level monthly activity.
• Understand and oversee monthly revenue recognition, including preparation and posting of deferred and accrued revenue.
• Liaise with Business Development leads to ensure understanding of contracts and appropriate revenue recognition.
• Work in Progress accounting in software and Excel based reporting.
• Assist in finance related aspect of sub-lease, working with tenant and external accounting firms to set up effective recharge methodology and maintaining records to support recharges.
• Manage capital expenditure, tracking and reviewing project spend.
• Assist with annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting activities on revenue and costs.
• Actively support the auditing process through the location and provision of accounts, supporting schedules and other documents and files as required.
• Offer cover for initiation of invoice requests to Finance AR, to raise and send invoices to clients

This would suit a qualified accountant with at least 3 years' experience in a similar Management Accountant / Financial Accountant role.
