ORGANISATIONAL AIMS:
1. To provide temporary hostel accommodation to homeless people
2. To develop a range of accommodation options and individual capacity building
3. To manage the Association and its projects with good practice and within statutory guidance.
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
The HR administrator is responsible for supporting the Head of HR and the HR function with daily, weekly, monthly and ad-hoc tasks as required.
Main duties
1. To provide support to the Head of HR and HR function. Specific responsibilities:
a) To maintain an effective paper and electronic filing system.
b) Taking and producing minutes of HR meetings as required.
c) To produce and maintain employee timesheets and highlight any inconsistencies to the Head of HR.
d) To produce new employee induction packs and ensure systems are updated with employee details.
e) To distribute and collate required employee information, such as organizational road safety documents; employee surveys; annual appraisals.
f) To carry out internal investigations when required in accordance with our procedures.
g) Liaise with external organizations when required.
h) To maintain internal HR systems.
2. To carry out other duties that reasonably fall within the scope of the post: -
a) Attendance at meetings deemed appropriate by the Head of HR.
b) Participation in training and supervision.
c) You must work constructively with other departments within the YMCA Cardiff Group.
d) Assisting with jobs that usually fall to another member of staff but in whose absence, failure to carry out the work would present a risk or offence to others or would be detrimental to the organizations’ service provision.
e) To adhere to and be aware of the Associations policies and procedures, including GDPR, code of conduct, Health & Safety and Equal Opportunities.
f) To be able to respect the Christian ethos of the YMCA and uphold its values
