Key Responsibilities

In this exciting Principal Engineer role, you’ll lead on a broad range of Civil and Structural/MEICA services. These will include Permanent Works designs for buildings, highways and infrastructure. You’ll also produce BIM models to support tender schemes and provide design management advice to support bid winning and project delivery acting as a Lead Designer. You’ll lead the development of Group wide technical standards and design processes, identify risks and solutions to facilitate scoping, pricing, designing and construction and provide delivery of bespoke training courses to site-based and construction personnel.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ideally, you’ll be a Chartered Professional or aiming to achieve chartership in the short-term and/or have strong demonstrable experience within this discipline. You’ll have undertaken a wide range of Civil and Structural design in both temporary and permanent works. A strong highways or drainage background would be desirable.
